Tottenham have clinched the signing of Chelsea's Carlo Cudicini for around RM 5.2 million. Cudicini moved to the club 10 years ago but he has been second choice to Petr Cech since the Czech arrived in 2004.

Pennant now with Pompei
Winger Jermaine Pennant has agreed to join Portsmouth on loan from Liverpool until the end of the season. Pennant was expected to move to the south coast club last week, after the clubs agreed terms for a player signed by the Reds for 6.7 millions pounds from Birmingham in July 2006.
Fred free to leave Lyon
Lyon's want-away Brazil striker Fred is free to leave the club and return home, the French champions claimed on Tuesday. The forward, who joined Lyon in 2005, is out of contract in June buta has made it clear he wants to quit the Stade Gerland now. He has had several injuries during the past year and is frustrated at the lack of his first team action.
Ze Roberto for Flamengo
Schalke 04's Brazillian attacking midfielder Ze Roberto has joined Brazillian giants Flamengo on a one-year loan deal. The 28 year-old was signed from Brazillian First Division club Botafogo for 3 million Euro in January 2008 but failed to settle.
